Player Settings
The third tab in your MinecraftEdu Teacher Menu is called Player Settings. These settings are for the student players in the game world and will be used to manage and control students abilities. The green check mark indicates that a feature has been enabled. Please keep in mind that these settings are for all students in the game at any given time; when you freeze students, it will apply to any user who is logged in as a student. Use such features with caution as they will impact students in other classes. The green check mark indicates that a feature has been enabled.
Enable PVP: When enabled, players can engage in combat with and injure one another; Gamemode must be set to "survival"
Allow Student Surfacing: Students can teleport themselves back to the surface directly above their heads using a button on their student menu (M). This is useful for students stuck in holes so you don't have to rescue them each time!
Freeze Students: Students cannot move, cannot destroy blocks, cannot place blocks.
Keep Inventory: Users don't lose their inventory content when they die, only applies to survival mode.
Allow Student Respawning: Students can teleport themselves back to the spawn location using a button on their student menu (M).
Students Can Build: When enabled, students can place and destroy blocks anywhere, except on top of Build Disallow blocks. When disabled, student can only place or destroy block on top of Build Allow Blocks.
Mute Students: Students cannot use the in-game chat.
Students Can Always Fly: Students can fly in any gamemode.
* When students are frozen, they can not build, dig or move. They can still access the chat.
* When students are muted, they can not write in the chat, but can still dig, move and build.
Challenge: Select settings that you would keep enabled while students are playing and post a screenshot of your choices in the Givercraft Google Community; share why you chose the settings.
